DHP-A Opti air/water heat pump
Danfoss DHP-A Opti can retrieve energy from the air down to a temperature of -20 degrees and can reduce yoyr energy costs by 50% or more. It is also equipped with Danfoss TWS technology.
Further Information
Makes use of the energy in the outdoor air Instead of retrieving energy from rock, ground or water, Danfoss DHP-A Opti makes use of the energy in the outdoor air. It is so efficient that it is able to convert the energy down as low as -20°C. This is the perfect solution for those of you who do not want to, cannot or are not permitted to drill for rock heat, because it does not require any bore holes. Just like our rock heat pumps, it produces both heat and hot water and can reduce the costs of heating your house by up to three quarters. Opti technology incorporates an intelligent control system that via speed controlled circulation pumps ensures that the performance is always adjusted to the prevailing requirements and conditions of the heating system. This makes the heat pump always work under the most ideal conditions available, you gain a maximum of efficiency and a minimum of energy consumption, guaranteeing you the highest possible COP, second by second, hour by hour. The patented TWS technology heats hot-water faster and with less energy consumption than any other system on the market. Danfoss DHP-A Opti does not require any boreholes, and produces both heat and hot-water. Reliable air heat pump with long service life. In contrast to many other types of air heat pump, the vital parts of Danfoss DHP-A Opti are located in the heat pump which stands inside your house. This means that they are not exposed to wind and weather, which means reliable function and increased service life. Thanks to the clever system design there is no risk of Danfoss DHP-A Opti getting frost damage either. Danfoss air heat pump with high efficiency all year round To retain the high efficiency at low temperatures, the outdoor section of the system must be defrosted. The air heat pumps defrosting is automatic and demand controlled. It is only activated when it is needed and only for as long as necessary, which minimises the energy consumption required to keep the outdoor section of the system free of ice. Danfoss DHP-A Opti is available in four power outputs, from 6 to 12 kW - for 400 V 3-N (also for 240 V 1-N)
